About the Creator
Ben Jackson
Ben Jackson is the founder of Bulletoons and the sole artist behind all of its imaginative content.
Ben is the son of Michael Jackson, Pastor of Abundant Life Church in Sacramento, CA. Bulletoons began as a series of cartoons created specifically for Abundant Life Church's bulletins. It was his father Michael who proposed the name "Bulletoons" and who encouraged him to use his lifelong drawing ability to benefit God's Kingdom.

Since childhood, Ben has had a creative spark and an interest in sharing his talents with the world—from drawing to music to filmmaking to voice acting. Since 2007 (at age thirteen), he has headed many creative projects for Abundant Life Church, several of which have included animation and most of which have included original music.
Anyone who knows Ben can attest to his uniquely creative mind, but what may be less apparent is that Ben has high-functioning autism. His parents had him diagnosed at age five because as a young child, he had problems with verbal communication, focus, social adjustment and anxiety. These obstacles continued into his teenage years and severely hindered his joy and his resolve to carry out his responsibilities.

As Ben has grown closer to God in faith, God has been freeing him from the shackles of his anxiety; and through the Holy Spirit, Ben has been able to do incredible things to the glory of God. He now works in in-home care, providing for the needs of a man with autism, having come full-circle—nothing short of a miracle.

1 Corinthians 1:27 tells us that "God chose the foolish things of the world to shame the wise; God chose the weak things of the world to shame the strong." Knowing how difficult it would be for him to carry out, God created Ben with the innate need to rely on Him for the power to bring to fruition the incredible purpose He created him for. May Ben's story be a testament to all of us who doubt ourselves and our ability to serve God, that "with God all things are possible" (Matthew 19:26).
